'I'm in constant pain': 12-year-old sneezes 12,000 times a day

This time of year can be tough for hayfever sufferers but nobody seems to have it as bad as this 12-year-old who sneezes 12,000 times a day.

Katelyn Thornley has gone public with her condition in the hope that someone might have a cure and make it stop.

"You have no idea, I am constantly in pain from my abdomen," Katelyn told 7 News.

Uncontrollable sneezing has taken over her life.

"Sometimes I wish that I could leave my body for a little while so I can watch myself sleep and be at peace cause even in my dreams I sneeze," she said.

Katelyn can barely sleep, or eat.

Only music, specifically the Beatles, seems to calm her.

School has become too hard and some kids end up making fun of her.

The sneezing started a month ago after a clarinet lesson.

Her family thought it was an allergy but it only got worse.

"I don't care what they do I just want it to stop I don't know what to do," she said.
