Elephant stabs buffalo in vicious attack
A tourist has filmed the shocking moment an elephant stabs and kills a buffalo while it lay innocently on a grassy plane in South Africa.
The footage was shot near Mopani in the Kruger National Park in South Africa and shows an innocent brown buffalo minding its own business on the grass as it gets up and starts to run from an incoming elephant.
The elephant can be seen charging toward the buffalo slamming its long tusks into the animal as it forcefully hits the ground.
As this is happening a tourist can be heard saying, "oh no man what the hell?"
The buffalo, seemingly unable to move, stays on the ground as the elephant continues to attack its prey by picking the creature up with its tusks and launching it into the air.
As the buffalo tries to escape the tight grip another tourist can be heard stating, "that's the end of that buffalo."
The tusked beast takes a few more vicious stabs to finish off the buffalo and backs away triumphantly.
