Perth vet simply looking for love

Calling all single animal lovers.

Dr Ram Naresh, 46, is in a bid to find love and has created a Facebook page called Single Vet Australia in order to find "the one".

The Perth mobile vet said he had no luck on dating websites because most profiles he came across were fake.

“I found the major problem was that people lied on dating sites, they had fake profiles, photos and activities, " Mr Naresh told Yahoo7.

In one case he said a young woman had even asked him to provide money for drugs.

In 2014, after having no luck, he came up with the idea of creating his own Facebook page - reaching nearly 2,000 likes - so he can keep track of real people and their interests.

"I can have a rough idea about a woman who is contacting me and I can control if I want to talk to them or not."
