This simple video of birds rushing to a drinking cup has gone viral
A two-minute video of a hover of hummingbirds has captured the attention of thousands of people.
Since Bryan Chapman shared the video of the tiny birds flocking to a red cup on Tuesday, it has been shared more than 64,000 times.
His very simple process of putting one cup of sugar to four cups of water managed to attract the curious birds right to his hand.
Chapman’s red cup may have helped in his quest too.
Colours such as red, pink and orange stand out much more easily for the birds and it’s long been said that red is the hummingbird’s favourite colour.
