Sam Ibrahim to be deported under tough citizenship laws
EXCLUSIVE: Hassan 'Sam' Ibrahim, one of Sydney's most notorious underworld figures, is set to be deported.
7 News understands Immigration Minister Peter Dutton signed off on Sam Ibrahim's exit papers a few days ago - and he now has 28 days to appeal.

Ibrahim, the brother of Kings Cross club owner John Ibrahim, has been in jail since April last year awaiting trial on gun racketeering charges.
Under tough citizenship laws introduced last year the federal government can revoke the residency visa for anyone who fails a stringent 'character test'.
The Australian Crime Commission asked Immigration Minister Dutton to consider revoke Ibrahim's residency visa.
Ibrahim failed that test but for legal reasons 7 News cannot disclose why.
The former bikie boss came to Australia as a child from Lebanon and has lived here most of his life but now has only 28 days to appeal the decision.
If Ibrahim's appeal process does fail he will repatriated to Lebanon.
Immigration Minister Dutton's office refused to confirm the story but released a statement saying: "Protecting the Australian community is the number one priority of this Government."
