BBC presenter's Ron Burgundy moment

A BBC presenter had the perfect Anchorman moment when he read something off the teleprompter he wasn't supposed to.

But he did it without missing a beat.

At the end of a story about someone being detained on a flight, presenter Gavin Grey was given a queue to "pause for effect" before launching into a story that would take a different beat.

Instead of actually pausing for effect, the anchor read, "Pause for effect" aloud.

As long as there's no question mark at the end of Grey's name when signs off at the end of the night, he'll be OK.

In spite of all the planning and production, TV can often go off the rails. Often with hilarious consequences.
