Mob of kangaroos stare down cyclist

A kangaroo 'apocalypse' has been caught on camera by an Australian man riding his bike through a park in Melbourne.

Ben Verzina filmed the mysterious moment the kangaroos staunched him while on a leisurely ride down a mountain in Hawkstowe Park located 23 kilometres from Melbourne's CBD.

"Alright so this has been a very unnerving experience,” Verzina remarks as he slowly climbs down the mountain.

“Look at them they’re all just standing there, I mean should i be going down here?

“OMG, instead of a zombie apocalypse, its a f****** kangaroo.

“And look at them they’re all just standing there, I mean should I be going down here?"

Eventually a handful of kangaroos eventually start to hop away as he makes through the crowd of "terrifying" roos.

"I’m going to be honest I am a little terrified."

Verzina wrote on his YouTube video: ”Kangaroos are nice animals who don't gather like hordes and attack people, they coexist with people and never attack them. This video is proof."

"We promise Ben is safe and we kangaroos don't know how to type, even if there is lots of blood on the phone."
