Running from the police always seems like a good idea at the time. Sure, you’ve done the crime but who really wants to do the time?
The problem is the police are pretty well practiced when it comes to chasing down fleeing crooks.
They also have fast cars, guns, tasers, pepper sprays, a variety of sticks, a lot of back up and, from time to time, helicopters.
Running away also makes their workday harder and no one has ever made friends doing that.
Yesterday one man found this out in grand style after leading police on an hours long chase. He ended up on the receiving end of a frustrated SWAT team.
He was not the first. He will not be the last.
