VIDEO: Shocking escalator fall a warning for all parents
CCTV has captured the terrifying moment a two-year-old crawled onto a shopping centre escalator before plummeting several metres to the ground.
Miraculously, the boy managed to survive the two-storey fall at a Dongguan shopping centre, in China's south.
Another camera angle shows what's believed to be the boy's older brother rushing towards him as he lays motionless on the floor.
The boy was rushed to hospital suffering a fractured skull and ribs.
The footage serves as a stark warning to parents about keeping a close eye on their children around escalators.
