Worker dies after 12-storey plunge from Sydney apartment

Police have confirmed a worker has fallen to his death from at least the twelfth-floor of an apartment in Sydney's east.

7News understands the victim was a plasterer working in the Ranelagh at Darling Point building when the incident happened, just before 11:30am.

Officers are yet to confirm the man's identity, but believe he is in his fifties or sixties.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
