William Spedding has been charged with historical child-sex offences relating to two young girls 28 years ago.
Spedding, 63, a washing machine repairman, was arrested earlier today at his Bonny Hills home, south of Port Macquarie on the NSW mid-north coast.
Spedding has been charged with five counts of sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 10, and two counts of common assault.
The charges relate to two girls, aged three and six.
He has been refused bail.
