FIRST ON 7: Ian Callaghan is a 33-year-old Queensland police officer who suffers from Multiple Sclerosis disease.
He has just arrived in Singapore to undergo radical treatment called HSCT
Overseas trials are claiming 70% success rates but the treatment is very expensive and will cost Ian and his family $140, 000, plus extra for flights and accommodation.
His fiancé Amy, who is pregnant with twin girls, could give birth while Ian is undergoing treatment in Singapore.
