Reddit users reveal worst baby names
Imagine introducing yourself to people as ‘Orgasm’.
That is a reality for someone somewhere in the world, according to Reddit users.
The internet forum asked users to share the worst baby names they had ever heard and there were some real gems.
One user said they had once seen 'Airwrecker' used as an alternative way to spell Erica.
The same user, whose mother is reportedly a midwife, said she had also heard ‘Mazen’, as in it was ‘mazen’ when the child was born.
Another user said: “There is a girl in my school named Gennah Tyles. With a G. 'It’s like her parents wanted to name her genitals.”
One submitter said a friend named her child 'Britney Shakira Beyonce'.
‘Abstinence' was one that shocked users. "I predict she will be pregnant by 16," the submitter said.
Another one that drew derisive remarks from commenters was 'Boy Boy'.
Naming your child a silly name is not only mean; it could be child abuse. A couple in New Zealand lost custody of their child in 2008 for naming her ‘Talula Does the Hula From Hawaii.’
