Man puts kidney plea on back of ute
A US man put an ad for a kidney donor for his wife on the back of his ute.
The advertisement asks for a kidney donor for Colorado woman and includes the number of a local hospital.
Reddit user djaudibe posted a photo of the plea to several social media websites and users were moved and quickly rallied behind the man.
One user, gmx25, is reportedly being tested to see if he could donate a kidney to the woman.
Michelle said she was overwhelmed at the online support.
She wrote on Reddit: “I’ve gone from no hope and struggling to share my story to millions of people seeing it. I’m without words. I feel very blessed and honoured.”
Michelle has said she has lupus, which is an autoimmune disease.
She said she has been through two comas, a stroke, seizures, temporarily paralysis and chemotherapy because of the disease.
