Tragic development in hit-and-run
There has been a tragic development in the police investigation into the death of a young Brisbane woman, killed in a hit and run on Sunday.
The man police suspect had been driving the car that hit Ashleigh Humphrys has been found dead.
The father is believed to have been on his way to work, when he hit the 20-year-old, who was possibly lying on the ground.
He told police he didn't know he had hit her.
His car was seized by detectives earlier this week, but he wasn't charged.
