Zoo concert series no roar and snore
The Cat Empire, Bernard Fanning and Village People will lead a line-up of local and international artists performing at the Melbourne Zoo Twilight concerts series this summer.
International acts performing on weekends from January through March include Stephen Malkmus, Conor Oberst, `70s disco idols Village People and Daptone Records Afro-beat crew The Budos Band.
Also on the bill are Australian musicians Bernard Fanning and Sarah Blasko, who will debut new songs from upcoming releases.
James Reyne will play music of his iconic `80s band Australian Crawl, while The Cat Empire, Spiderbait, Dan Sultan and Melbourne Bollywood rockers The Bombay Royale will also take to the open-air stage.
Paul Kelly will also present his Merri Soul Sessions featuring guest vocalists Clairy Browne, Kira Puru, & Vika and Linda Bull.
Tickets go on sale on October 28.
