He then passes out, before smashing through a fence and into the side of a house.
While there was no one on the bus during the crash, which took place in June, police say the driver had previously had a number of people on board.
The Busways employeepleaded guilty at Penrith Court to driving recklessly and driving with illicit substances in his blood.
He also tested positive for morphine and methylamphetamine.
At the time, Busways said the employee had suffered an unknown medical condition. Today the company confirmed the man is no longer employed.
The driver will be sentenced tomorrow in court.
