Malaysian Airlines tragedies strike family twice

A Queensland family from Biloela, who lost family in missing flight MH370, are tragically in mourning once again after Malaysia Airlines MH17 was shot down over Ukraine.

The Burrows, who lost a son and a daughter-in-law on board flight MH370, are now believed to have lost further family members on the Malaysia Airlines MH17 flight shot down over Ukraine.

George and Irene Burrows, from Biloela, central Queensland, have been grieving the loss of son Rodney and his wife Mary who were among the passengers on flight MH370, which disappeared in March and whose final resting place has still not been discovered.

Irene’s son Greg Burrows made a formal statement on behalf of the family, speaking of how the latest news had rocked the family.

“This has been a very trying day.”, he told the Courier Mail.

“This has just blown everyone clean out of the water.’
