Man burned in SA hotel blaze
A man has suffered serious burns in a fire at a hotel in South Australia's Riverland.
The Waikerie Hotel was evacuated after a fire broke out in one of the accommodation rooms about 8pm on Thursday (ACST), police said.
A man, believed to have been occupying the room, suffered serious burns.
He was treated locally but is expected to be flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital
Two rooms in the accommodation block had $50,000 worth of damage.
Police are investigating the cause of the fire.
