Casualty spoilers follow.
Next week on Casualty, Rash faces his darkest day, while Cam’s romance hopes are dashed and Stevie is faced with a painful reminder of the past.
Here's a full collection of the biggest moments coming up:
1. Rash struggles to cope
Rash has taken the day off to watch the cricket with his dad, but Ashok has locked himself in the bathroom, and has been verbally abusing Rash all day.
When Rida arrives, she tells a stressed Rash to take some time out – it’s the illness talking, not his dad.
Feeling like he has failed everyone, Rash heads into work to distract himself.
2. Stevie gets important news
Stevie is relieved when she finds out the trust are backing her in the Nikhil Kapoor case.
However, her mood quickly changes when Charlie tells her they also want to send Stevie on a conflict resolution course.
3. Rash's day gets even worse
Rash helps treat a patient called Wyatt, who is vomiting and has a fever.
Rash becomes more concerned as he rules out COVID and malaria but instead deduces Wyatt has Ebola.
Dylan wants Rash to step out and let someone in full PPE take over, but Rash points out it’s too late – he’s already had contact with Wyatt.
4. Cam is urged to act on his feelings
Cam comforts a worried Jodie after the Ebola announcement and encourages her to look after herself ahead of her upcoming operation.
Jodie is touched and they share a moment, which is witnessed by Ngozi.
Ngozi tells a hesitant Cam to seize the day and act on his feelings for Jodie.
Cam bites the bullet and asks Jodie if she wants to go out for dinner that evening. To his delight, she agrees – but there's mixed messages over whether it's meant to be a date.
5. Rida is left panic-stricken
Rash is in quarantined and asks Dylan to get a message to Rida, who is preparing to take Ashok to the cricket.
As Rida gets ready to leave, she is horrified to realise that the front door is open and Ashok has gone missing.
Thinking he’s gone ahead to the cricket field, Rida goes there but there's no sign of Ashok.
6. Rash gets devastating news
When Wyatt begins to stabilise, Rash faces the reality that he may have misdiagnosed.
Dylan tells Rash that he was courageous and showed leadership regardless – and that his dad would and should be proud of him.
As Rash contemplates his next steps, a frantic Rida arrives at the ED in search of Ashok. She is horrified to see Iain bringing in a patient, who has been hit by a bus and fits Ashok’s description.
Rash eventually learns the devastating news and runs to be with his dad, but will Ashkok be okay?
7. Cam is left devastated
When Ngozi realises that Jodie only sees Cam as a friend, she tries to subtly alert him to this.
Cam is on a high and won’t listen, until Jodie leaves him crushed by cancelling their evening plans.
He's devastated when he later sees Jodie kissing Teddy; the real object of her desires.
8. Ngozi's past is revealed
Ngozi picks up extra shifts on Darwin, despite working flatout on the ED.
The reason for this later becomes clear when she has a FaceTime call with her young son, promising she will have the money she needs soon.
9. Stevie is faced with a traumatic reminder
Stevie is faced with a painful reminder of the past when Adam – the patient she's treating – reveals his Ulster Defence Association tattoo.
Following this, Stevie sinks into her memories, replaying a past trauma. Faith tries to question Stevie on what's going on, but Stevie rejects her.
Mistakenly, Stevie then goes back to Adam, who tries to make amends for his past, but can Stevie make amends with hers?
Casualty airs on Saturday nights on BBC One. The show is now releasing episodes early on BBC iPlayer at 6am on the day of transmission.
