It’s a particular set of skills: singing, dancing, wearing floaty dresses and falling in love in 24 hours or preferably less.

And while Cinderella, Belle and Ariel definitely didn’t receive salaries, a new job opportunity in England is offering a substantial sum to whoever will be their personal Disney princess.

A family in the UK is on the hunt for a nanny willing to dress like a Disney princess five days a week, and they’ll pay a £40,000 (AU$74,000) salary to the person who will do it.

According to the job ad posted on Childcare.co.uk, a couple in Brookmans Park, a suburb in southeast England, is looking for a nanny who will look after their 5-year-old twin girls while dressed as a different Disney princess each month, including Princess Anna, Moana, Rapunzel, Tiana, Cinderella, Belle and Merida.

The princess outfits will be covered by the family.

“Like most 5-year-olds, our girls are obsessed with Disney and we feel this would be the best way to communicate some important values,” the mother explained.

“We know this isn’t a normal request for nannies, however we think it would be a great way to teach our girls about things like determination, compassion, fearlessness and ambition from strong yet relatable female role models.”

She said they’re looking for someone who can commit to the character, be fun – but also be unafraid of disciplining the children who can be “little terrors at times”.

Understandably, candidates will need to have a “creative flare” and passion for Disney.

The nanny will be required to pick up the children after school four days a week, before engaging in different Disney-related activities like singing, baking and making art.

The nanny will also need to cook dinner and put them to bed when the parents are home late.

“We know this isn’t exactly a normal job offer, but we think it’s a great opportunity for someone to get really creative and add a little magic to our girl’s lives!” the mother said.

“So, if there are any Disney-mad nannies out there who’d be able to help us out, please get in touch.”
