I don’t know about you, but when I look at my kitchen I often wonder, “What is this missing?” Is it a Le Creuset pot?

No, I know what I need: a spa bath.

Yes, it all makes sense now. It’s the missing piece to my culinary puzzle.

But my worries are fleeting.

For the bargain price of $600,000, I could purchase an apartment in the heart of Sydney’s buzzing Darlinghurst, and watch my soup boil away on the kitchen stove from the comfort of my...spa.

The one bedroom apartment at 38/6 Stanley Street in the St James Apartments is modern, featuring oak flooring with high-end finishes.

The listing describes the apartment as “chic” and “designer”, before adding: “Further highlights include a deluxe Travertine bathroom and a hydrotherapy spa bath”.

The listing doesn’t offer any more detail about the spa, for example its dimensions or how exactly you get in. However, the picture has the spa situated at the end of the kitchen bench, right next to the washing machine.

There isn’t a visible fan to absorb the steam emanating from said spa, but it does look like there are windows you can open.

If you do manage to pry yourself away from the luxury spa bath, you can take advantage of the apartment’s communal rooftop deck, which boasts city views and harbour “glimpses”.

The apartment doesn’t have an auction date yet, but you can request an inspection.
