Recently, while scrolling post-election Twitter, I came across a viral tweet sharing a few of the people that voters in Vermont wrote in on their ballots. Intrigued, I dug a bit further into Vermont's election results to see just who had received votes over candidates who were actually printed on the ballot. Here are 21 of the wildest write-ins that received real, actual votes in the 2024 election:
