- What's in the 2023 Oscars gift bag? For the past 20 years, Oscar nominees have taken home a legendary swag bag known as the Everyone Wins gift bag. The bags are only sent to the 25 nominees in the acting and directing categories and range in value from $45,000 to $250,000.

This year, there were 26 gift bags, as the Daniels are sharing the best directing nomination for "Everything, Everywhere, All at Once." This year's nominees will receive $126,000 worth of consolation swag curated by entertainment marketing company Distinctive Assets.

Founder Lash Fairy describes the process of putting together the bags as celebrity marketing with a message by using the award show's huge platform to raise awareness for issues like conservation. One inclusion is a plot of land in South East Queensland as part of Pieces of Australia, a group which aims to promote forest regeneration. Another high-ticket item is a three-night stay with up to seven friends on an island off the coast of Italy as well as a Canadian getaway on a 10-acre estate. Some of the other 60 items included in this year's swag are liposuction, Botox, and a hair restoration consultation.
