The dramatic moment an off-duty policeman came to to the rescue of a woman who fainted and fell onto train tracks has been captured on CCTV.

Spanish police have released footage of the video, which shows a 52-year-old woman passing out and falling onto the tracks.

Fortunately, an off-duty policeman came to her aid, just seconds before a train was due to arrive.

Other commuters manage to get the attention of the driver of the oncoming train, who stops just in time.
