A massage therapist has let fly in court while being jailed for indecently assaulting two customers.
Through an interpreter he said the case against him was ridiculous and accused those involved of being from another planet.
Xinjun Zhang has maintained he never sexually touched two customers on consecutive days at We Massage in Marion shopping centre.
A magistrate disagreed and sentenced him to seven months jail.
Through an interpreter "It is not acceptable.
"This is ridiculous.
It seems you people from Mars.
" The magistrate didn't suspend the sentence partly because Zhang showed no remorse and he said the victims were "completely unprepared for his sleazy, demeaning "and confusing advances.
" At least one victim's relieved.
It's been humiliating and embarrassing.
The whole process has hurt my family and my kids.
I hope it's a clear message that it's not acceptable.
Massage therapy is a self-regulated industry, meaning anyone can call themselves a practitioner without having recognised qualifications.
However, there are a number of industry associations which have a professional register and members need to comply with rules.
Also, in South Australia the Health Commission can investigate and anyone treating children must comply with protection laws.
