Ben Cousins's road to recovery

Yahoo!7 July 9, 2012, 6:39 pm

In an exclusive interview disgraced former footballer Ben Cousins has spoken for the first time since his conviction for drug possession.

The ex-AFL star says he's planning a possible return to the game and hopes someone in the code will give him another chance.

The former West Coast Eagle revealed to Seven's Adrian Barich that he is rebuilding his life, and that he would be happy with a coaching role.

Cousins also says he regrets his recent drug possession charge, and says that now he is the father of baby son Bobby he needs to change.

"Hopefully some doors can open and kick on because it's obviously really important to the family life that I am trying to lead," he said.
