Truckie charged over fatal school bus crash

7News Sydney February 4, 2013, 3:04 pm

A truck driver has been charged following a school bus crash that killed a nine-year-old boy at Singleton in the New South Wales Hunter.

Two other boys, including the dead boy's brother, and the bus driver were flown to hospital, on September 10 last year.

A police investigation has since found that a Queensland truck driver had drugs in his system at the time of the accident.

The 34-year-old has been charged with dangerous driving offences and has been ordered to face court next month.
