The One Big Switch campaign needed 25,000 people to sign up to negotiate a twelve per cent saving, but that turned out to be a very conservative target.

The discounts are:
  • 16.5 per cent in New South Wales
  • 18.5 per cent in Victoria
  • 15.5 per cent in South Australia
  • 12 per cent in Queensland

"They are great discounts in a really competitive environment," Harris said.

The opportunity to sign up finishes next month.
