These two old souls never tire of working with leather in each other's company.

The Perkal brothers are a remarkable pair. Adam is 91 and Morri at 93 is the cheeky one.

For 62 years they have been making shoes side by side in their inner-Sydney store.

Adam was captured by the Nazis and spent a year in a concentration camp, until he was liberated by the Americans.

Morri escaped to Russia. Neither knew the other was alive, until they arrived in Australia and an uncle put them in touch.

They're always happy when together and they're never far apart.

They live in the same suburb, and their wives of more than sixty years are great friends.
