The children at the centre of an unfair dismissal scandal, Aaron and Jennifer Bellis, won't be making Christmas cards with the other children at daycare this year.
When Sally Bellis picked up her children on Monday she was stunned to receive an expulsion letter from a staff member at the Early Years Childcare Centre.
The children's enrolment at the centre was terminated because the centre's management say Sally hosted a party which about to what they describe as a 'bitch-fest'.More stories from Today Tonight
Sally, however, says nothing could be further from the truth.
"This was my daughter's fifth birthday party - her first one. To turn up the next day and be treated like this is ridiculous," Sally said.
She claims she didn't even know the women who attended her daughter's birthday party, and that it was absolutely not a 'bitch-fest'.
"Nobody had spoken about the centre. There was no bitch-fest. It was an innocent little girl's party and if they (were) they would have been asked to leave," Sally said.
In the extraordinary and poorly written termination letter, the centre management claimed they'd been told the Bellises were unhappy with the the service they were receiving.
Sally's husband Tom said they didn't have an issue with the daycare centre, though clearly the centre had an issue with them.
"I suppose like anywhere else in the country, or anywhere else in the world, you do get clicky groups like this. But to be ostracised from a group or anything like that is really just targetting people," Tom said.
Centre manage Kristy Ramsay won't say why the children had been banished or why she hasn't personally asked the Bellises if they had been badmouthing the centre.
"I would like to know what is going on, and they refuse to talk to me. Management refuse to talk to me. They have not spoken to me," Sally said.
