Organised for young Muslim women by the Darebin Council in Victoria, the event will be a female-only function.

The council applied to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal to put on the event and the Tribunal approved, also passing a ruling that councils won't have to apply for equal opportunity exemption in the future.
