Bob Jones says he feels 30-years younger than his age, so how does he do it?
Even Hendy was impressed by Bob's fitness.
"He's the fittest by 100 per cent 73-year-old that I've ever met or seen or known of, so that's pretty incredible," he said.
Believe it or not, Norm is 80 but according to Doctor John Arbuckle, you'd never know it.
Eight months ago Norm says he was practically bed-ridden - old age and bad health had caught up with him.
"I think I'm going out more often. I think I've become a little more social and I think that'd mainly be the change," he said.
Bob too was feeling the effects of age.
"I was so frustrated with the lack of energy at age 65 - eight years ago - that I would have done anything to try to increase it," he said.
Bob and Norm inject themselves with human growth hormones.
Dr Arbuckle has just opened a clinic on the Gold Coast specialising in hormone replacement for anti-aging.
"The body changes in that they lose fat, they develop muscle instead of the fat, a youthful enthusiasm which seems to come back into their life again, we have changes in things like libido," he said.
Back home in the US, Bob now scales mountain trails once a week and says he's thrown away the blood pressure tablets he took for 30 years and it seems the benefits are not just internal.
In Australia to help promote Dr Arbuckle's clinic, Bob has convinced people such as Connie and Robert to try hormone replacement.
At 69, Connie says she just wants to maintain the level of fitness she currently has and maybe extend her life, even if the treatment costs up to $300 a week.
"Definitely. Your health is most important isn't it? Without that you are bankrupt anyway aren't you?" she said.
"If the alternatives are cancer and the alternatives are high blood pressure or stroke or heart attack, which could cost me a lot of money in my life, this would be the alternative I will weight it up against," Robert said.
"Our interest is to return the hormone levels of our patients to the levels that they were at when they were 30 or 35 years old," Dr Arbuckle said.
Dr Arbuckle is so convinced, he is trying hormone replacement himself.
"I don't believe there are side effects if the treatment is administered properly and monitored properly," he said.
"We don't willy nilly commence people on hormones and send them away. They are monitored very closely, they have blood tests regularly."
Now they've started treatment we will monitor Connie and Robert over the next few months and see if they can turn back time.
