Caught riding and texting

We keep being told how dangerous it is to text and drive, but a picture of a motorcyclist riding and texting shows the message isn't getting through.

Riding at 80 kilometres and hour along Sydney's M2 motorway yesterday, the motorcyclist was photographed by a bus passenger.

The photo has horrified road safety campaigners.

The 21-year-old handed himself in to police after the photo went viral.

What's made matters worse is that he was on a learner's permit, which he has now lost.
