Despite stronger laws to protect buyers, used cars with serious safety issues and needing costly repairs are still being sold around the country.

In an undercover investigation, qualified mechanics were hired to take random used cars for test drives, and the problems found as soon as the cars were driven off the lot were hard to believe.
