A 200 kilogram tenant found out the hard way just how rundown public housing can be, when he fell through a termite-infested floor in his home.
Wayne Douglas then tried to sue the Housing Department for failing to provide accommodation able to support his weight, but his claims were unsuccessful.
It may be a unique case, but there are plenty of others who claim the standard of public housing should be condemned.
