Singing Cowboy Justin Standley bared his soul on The X factor telling a TV audience of two million people that he came on the show hoping to reunite with his children.

The singer has not seen his kids in 12 years.

"I have 3 children and this is rather personal and I've had trouble locating them for a very long time, and I know this is crazy, but I thought if I got over my nerves and my shyness up here, and sang well enough, then perhaps they would see me on TV and feel proud of their dad," Justin said.
