Three pedestrians hit by car in Brisbane CBD
Three pedestrians have been hit by a car on a Brisbane footpath after a driver suffered a “medical episode”.
Queensland Police told Yahoo News Australia the incident occurred about 3.15pm on George Street in the city’s CBD.
The driver and the three pedestrians have been transported to hospital but police do not believe they are suffering major injuries.
George, Elizabeth and Adelaide streets have been blocked but police are working to open lanes in time for peak hour.
#Update - Four patients suffered minor injuries following a vehicle and pedestrians incident at 3.14pm in #BrisbaneCity. Two were transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, and two were transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital. All were in stable conditions.

Queensland Ambulance tweeted two of the patients were taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and two were taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
All are in stable conditions.
The Forensic Crash Unit is currently on scene.
