Car crashes into house

A man was charged with drink driving after he crashed his car into a High Wycombe property last night.

Police said at two people were at home at the time.

Witnesses said the vehicle was being driven quickly before the incident on Kalamunda Road.

A Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said the house was “unliveable” after the crash.

The owners are understood to have just put the house on the market.

Meanwhile, a man was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital in a serious condition last night after a motorcycle accident in Bullsbrook.

The RAC Rescue helicopter was sent to the crash at Chittering Road just before 9pm.

It is understood the man’s motorbike clipped a traffic island near the Hurd Road intersection.
