A teenager has been charged after allegedly using an axe and a kitchen knife during a hold up at a fast-food outlet in Spearwood overnight.
The 16-year-old, who is from Hilton, allegedly demanded cash from staff at the drive-thru window at about midnight.
He allegedly received cash from the counter before fleeing on foot.
Police arrested the teenager a short time later and charged him with armed robbery.
He is due to appear in Perth Children’s Court today.
