Last night he announced on Seven's 'Today Tonight' that he will not pay a $100,000 fine for breaching a suppression order and will instead serve 50 days in jail.
On principal, I will not pay the $100,000 fine.
Instead, I'll go to gaol.
The 69-year-old was handed the fine last year for breaching a suppression order in the Jill Meagher murder case.
