Environmentally conscious marketing group Eco Lodges of Australia has welcomed Yelverton Brook Eco-Spa Retreat and Conservation Sanctuary, Margaret River, into its fold, and launched the new website www.ecolodgesaustralia.com.au.
The collaborative venture is also welcoming three new members to the group, making it easier for travellers to find an environmentally friendly and sustainable accommodation choice when travelling in Australia.
Eco Lodges are structurally designed to reduce environmental impact and reduce their carbon footprint through various techniques such as the use of non-toxic cleaners and renewable energy supplies.
Kym Cheatham, chief executive of Ecotourism Australia, says the other two new members are Taronga Zoo Roar and Snore and Western Plains Zoofari Lodge in New South Wales.
"By using the brand Eco Lodges of Australia we collectively will help educate the traveller so that they do not get confused by the various green claims in the marketplace."Sponsored links
