Mt Hotham Alpine Resort has released discounted lift passes for the ski season which is scheduled to open at the Victorian ski field on June 9.

Two-day weekend passes are $185 for adults and $93 for children, three-day lift passes are $270 for adults while those skiing longer save more with five-day passes selling for $424 for adults and $212 for children.

Value season is from June 9-22 and September 17-30 when accommodation, lift passes, equipment hire and lessons for a three-day ski holiday booked through Hotham Holidays Reservations Centre are discounted by up to 50 per cent.

There's also free skiing for children travelling with a paying adult on a pre-booked three-night accommodation package during value season while children aged under five ski for free throughout the winter. Mt Hotham Alpine Resort has 72 runs and more than 35km of back-country trails with thousands of rooms and more than 20 bars and restaurants to choose from.
