Garuda launches Perth-Jakarta flights

Garuda Indonesia will begin daily direct flights between Perth and Jakarta from June 28.

The airline will use Boeing B738 aircraft on the route with individual touch screen TVs in business and economy class equipped with Video on Demand systems offering a choice of 25 films and 250 audio tracks.

Flights will leave Perth at 5.40pm arriving in Jakarta at 9.15pm while return flights will depart the Indonesian capital at 10.30am arriving in Perth at 3.50pm.
