Non-aligned WAFL clubs will each receive $7000 compensation for the loss of eastern States recruited AFL talent under the WA Football Commission's new partnering model.

All players recruited from the eastern States by the Eagles and Dockers will be placed in their respective aligned WAFL clubs. And a raft of AFL players will be swapped between Peel and East Perth to avoid conflict.

Peel will add Dockers players Zac Clarke, Hayden Crozier, Jack Hannath, Danyle Pearce, Jayden Pitt, Tanner Smith, Matt Taberner to their 2013 squad. The WAFC will reconvene with all stakeholders in early 2013 to advise the final details of the alignment model for 2014.
