Non-aligned WAFL clubs will each receive $7000 compensation for the loss of eastern States recruited AFL talent under the WA Football Commission's new partnering model.

From 2014 East Perth will be aligned to West Coast with Peel to have a similar arrangement with Fremantle. All players not required for AFL duty each week will play for the Royals or Thunder.

However, there will be changes to the WAFL-AFL servicing agreement next year as part of a transition phase for the 127-year-old competition.

All players recruited from the eastern States by the Eagles and Dockers will be placed in their respective aligned WAFL clubs. And a raft of AFL players will be swapped between Peel and East Perth to avoid conflict.

Moving to East Perth next season will be Jamie Bennell Jamie Cripps, Shannon Hurn, Scott Lycett, Cale Morton, Matt Rosa, Will Schofield, Sharrod Wellingham, Blayne Wilson.

Peel will add Dockers players Zac Clarke, Hayden Crozier, Jack Hannath, Danyle Pearce, Jayden Pitt, Tanner Smith, Matt Taberner to their 2013 squad.
