Kununurra Sporties Lawn Bowls hosted the A-grade and Bgrade grand finals, presentations and break-up celebrations at the Ord River Sports Club (Sporties) last Saturday night.

The Night Owls are the A-grade trophy winners after a seven-point win against team Here for a Beer.

The final score was 14 to seven. Wobblynuts team won the Bgrade trophy after a close one point win against team McWatts with a final score of 11 to 10.

A great turnout of spectators supported each of the teams in the grand final.

The bowls competition was held on from Tuesday to Thursday each week with a total of 31 teams and 228 players over the season.

Kununurra Sporties Lawn Bowls expressed a huge thankyou to the Ord River Sports Club, sponsors, players and the bowls committee.

The competition will begin again in May 2013.
