FUN RUN: Kununurra Half Marathon organiser Glenn Taylor crossed the finish-line first at the Wyndham Winners Fun Run on Saturday.

The passionate runner came first in the 10km race to fundraise for Wyndham District High School, while local teacher Cameron Hynes helped raise money for his students by winning the 5km run.

Hosted by the school, the event was held to raise money for a new water fountain and to enable students to attend the Kimberley Cup and Country Week sporting events.

Money collected from the event will also help promote the school’s “Six Kinds of Best”.

The program is aimed at promoting healthy activities and kindness to the environment.

CAPTION: Kununurra's Glenn Taylor is passionate about his running - he won the 10km Wyndham Winners Fun Run last weekend.
