Tiger Woods claimed his first US PGA Tour title in two and a half years when he won the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Orlando, Florida, this morning (WA time).

Woods shot a closing two-under-par 70 at Bay Hill to finish at 13-under and win by five stokes from Graeme McDowell.

Preparing for next month's Masters, 36-year-old Woods secured his 72nd US tour title but the first in an official US tour event since the BMW Championship in September 2009.
