West Australian field umpire Brett Rosebury will officiate his third successive AFL grand final.

Rosebury, who began his AFL career in 2000, was named along with Chris Donlon and Shaun Ryan, with Ray Chamberlain overlooked.

Another West Australian, Nathan Doig, has been named as a boundary umpire for his first grand final.

Rosebury was at the centre of controversy in 2008 when he was dumped from the Hawthorn-Geelong grand final following poor form in the earlier finals, despite being voted the league's top umpire just a week earlier.

But he overcame that setback to get the nod for Geelong's win over St Kilda 12 months later, and was umpire for both the drawn game and replay last year when Collingwood finally saw off the Saints.
