Inglewood remain joint leaders of the All Flags State soccer Premier League with a 3-1 win over Armadale at Alfred Skeet Oval.

"We knew it would be a tough game here. Credit to the boys we had to do it with 10 men for most of the second half, so we're delighted with the three points," Inglewood skipper James Sammut said.

United kept a seven-game unbeaten run intact when Michael Baczynski opened the scoring.

English import Wilf Dinsdale levelled for the home side five minutes into the second half. Sammut regained the lead but Baczynski was sent off moments later. The 10 men added a third when Alex Caniglia scored, leaving Armadale only three points from the drop zone.

"It's nice to get on the score sheet, but at the end of the day the main thing is we got three points and it keeps us up the top of the table," Sammut added.

In other Saturday games, top-of-the-table Bayswater were beaten 1-0 by bottom club Joondalup at Edith Cowen University. Both sides ended with 10 men after Joondalup midfielder John Higgins and Bayswater striker Gustavo Giron- Marulanda were sent off.

David Foster scored from the penalty spot in the second minute of stoppage-time.

Floreat Athena stay joint top after a 3-1 win against Western Knights at Wauhop Park while Perth beat Sorrento 4-0 at Dorrien Gardens.
